π¨ Hello there, Iβm Ibrahim
π¨βπ» PhD student @ University of Waterloo
π¨βπ« Computer Science Instructor (Part-time) at Humber College.
π§π»βπ» I am open to collaboration in the following areas, which reflect my research interests at the intersection of Machine Learning (ML) and Software Engineering::
- LLMs for Software Engineering: I am interested in using Large Language Models (LLMs) for code generation and repair, improving long-range dependency handling in code, and automating repetitive software engineering tasks to boost productivity.
- LLM Hallucination Mitigation: I want to extend my current research work on LLM hallucinations detection and mitigation in code-generation and further extend it to address the LLM hallucinations during technical report handling.
- Mining Software Repositories (MSR): In mining software repositories (MSR), I aim to automate code documentation to reduce manual effort, identify recurring code patterns and antipatterns to improve code quality, and analyze commit histories and issue logs for faster bug identification. Additionally, in the SE testing such as unit testing, I intend to explore how LLMs can significantly improve test case generation.
π§π»βπ Completed Masterβs in Computer Science from Western University and Bachelor in Computer Science from University of Chittagong.
